Description 



Raksasa Mods are individually hand carved by master artisans found only in the volcanic regions of Bali. Drawing on both traditional as well as modern techniques, each mod is brought to life using simple, in some cases primitive, hand tools.

The designs found in this original series are inspired by the mysticism from which these incredible artists and techniques are born.

About the name:
Throughout the mystical island of Bali, hand-chiseled sculptures of Raksasas are found standing guard at the entrances of village homes and temples.

These historical figures are believed to have been created from the breath of Brahma. They resemble powerful warriors, expert magicians and master illusionists. As warriors they fight alongside the armies of both good and evil. As magical shape-changers, they assume different physical forms capable of creating appearances real to those who believe in them.

Our custom buttons are Silver Plated White Brass w/ Abalone, Mother of Pearl or Black Pearl inlay.
