With the Taifun® GTR, we rely on proven concepts and combine them with new aspects to meet the needs of the users. Despite its low overall height, the Taifun® GTR has a top fill system, liquid control and variable air flow control.

The inconspicuous look of the Taifun® GTR hides some unusual solutions for well-known functions.

The TopCap completely dispenses with a thread for a Taifun® vaporizer for the first time. The new quick release fastener is extremely robust and user-friendly. The tank can be opened and closed with just a minimal turn without missing a high-quality impression in the slightest.

FUTURE-PROOF MATERIALS

With regard to DIN CENTS 17287, we were looking for an alternative to the well-known transparent plastic tanks and glass, with success.

For the first time, the Taifun® GTR will be delivered with a plastic tank again. The material used, polysulfone (PSU), is a transparent plastic that is one of the high-temperature resistant high-performance thermoplastics. The tank is hard in a temperature range of -100 ° C to 190 ° C and its ignition temperature (caused by a flame) is just under 500 ° C. In addition, it has an extremely high chemical resistance and has survived all previous tests with the known "tank crackers" without any damage or stress cracks. 

INNOVATIVE AIRFLOWCONTROL

The Taifun® GTR has two separate air channels. In the basic version, the cross-sections of the channels are 1.0mm and 1.2mm. Via the snap-ball-supported AFC, both channels can either be opened fully or half individually, or together fully or half.
The AFC ring of the Taifun® GTR has a stop in both directions. However, the intelligent arrangement of the air holes does not lead to a setting from small to large. The adjustment path is kept as short as possible and the outer opening is only ever exposed, halved or closed with a click to the right or left (depending on the selected air hole). In order to save overall height, the corrugated AFC ring also serves to assemble / disassemble the evaporator.
The possibilities of the AFC allow a wider range in the restrictive steam area without much effort. Both fans of the classic, very strict MTL and supporters of the very restrictive DL steaming can adjust the air supply to their personal needs without having to accept compression losses under the winding.

VARIABLE LIQUID CONTROL OF THE NEXT GENERATION

The Taifun® GTR is designed for versatile use in the restrictive area. This reflects the new arrangement of the Liquidcontrol.
One user vaporizes less viscous liquids with less power and higher negative pressure and the other more viscous liquids with more power and more air.
To meet these requirements, a liquid control is required which can be adapted to the individual requirements of the users to a certain extent. Simply turning it up is not enough for a satisfying steam experience in the area of MTL and restrictive DL.
The left liquid channel is optimized for 50/50 liquids with low performance and greater negative pressure in the chamber. Due to the narrower and higher riser, the chamber is not flooded under the conditions mentioned above.
The right channel is suitable for 70/30 + liquids with increased performance due to its wider milling and lower rise height. With a longer train duration, both channels can also be opened here. The Liquid Control is set by simply and easily turning the tank. 4 recesses for the accesses on both sides allow a very short rotation in the circumference, no matter where the thread starts.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

The wrapping deck of the Taifun® GTR is the logical continuation of the "Taifun Deck" introduced with the GT IV. The wire receptacles correspond to those of the Taifun® BTD with the improved lugs for easier wire reception.
The 2-sided ventilation introduced with the Taifun® GT IV was also adapted to the requirements of a purebred restrictive evaporator. Both air ducts emerge slightly obliquely under the winding and allow the coil to be variably adjusted to the needs of the user in terms of taste and "flash".
In principle, "keep it simple" also applies to the Taifun® GTR. The deck does not require great wrapping skills or cotton laying techniques for an optimal vaping experience. Simply install the coil, pull the cotton wool through and put it in your pocket. Finished.
